how super realism brought into movie.
46. The broken circle breakdown- This
Belgian drama film dealt with the topic of cloning human body and showed us the
good aspects of human cloning.
45. Nebraska- Nebraska is a Hollywood
flick which portrays the father- son relationship in a beautiful way.
44. Wind river- The Hollywood thriller
celebrates the power of womanhood. The poetry during the first scene made me
think the power cinema over me.
43. The hunt- The Danish mystery told us
about the adverse effect of something gruesome issues over the children.
42. The past- Two time Oscar recipient
Asghar Farhadi’s The Past says the tale of an Iranian man after his divorce
with his wife.
41. Super Deluxe- This Tamil Movie is
about not being rationale. It told how us being rational according to society
is molding our perception to see something.
40. Mother- Director Darren Aronfsky
took the biblical reference to show us the adverse effect of ruining the Mother
Nature.
39. Zodiac- Director David fincher did
not drew the conclusion of this thriller. We do not know who the culprit at the
end is.
38. Poetry- the Korean drama film deals
with how a grandmother is trying to save his grandson who committed rape.
39. Boyhood- The linklater’s coming of
age movie was shoot for 13 years. This 13 years of hard work molded as a
beautiful film.
38. My left foot- Daniel Day Lewes is
the protagonist of this movie. Do you need any more explanation? No way…

Coppolas’s Apocalypse Now is based on the Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad.
Horror Horror.

Bengali novel of the same name, this movie shows how the old world Jamindery is
now faded and the new world order is flourishing.
35. Meghe Dhaka Tara- Director Rittik
Ghotok’s Meghe Dhaka Tara deals with a working woman who is affected by a
disease.
34. The secret in their eyes- The movie
from Argentina deals with the ambiguous relation between two lawyer colleagues
with a thriller twist.
33. Incendies- The Canadian-Lebaneze movie dealt with the
destiny and horrific outcome of the war.

only one work from Ingmar Bergman and it is here in front of you.

subject. It showed how the Vietnam War affected the psyche of American soldiers.

is the most successful cinema at the box office? And the movie is about how old
world fade to make way for the new one with a run time of 3 hour and 53
minutes.
17. Titas Ekti Nodir Nam- This
Bangladeshi film shows us adverse effect of drought. Greta Thunberg this movie
is surely for you.

shows us how one event can be perceived by different outlook.

regarded as the most scientifically correct science fiction of all time, this
Stanley Kubrick’s film is enigmatic.

of the Mad Max series was in development hell for several years. But, it is
most metaphorical movie shadowed by a NFS type race.

thrillan introduced us with an East German’s policeman who keep tracks of the
lives of others.

from Orson Wells often regarded as the greatest films of all time.

true masterpiece in all sense. The film deals with a psycho killer who has oedipal
complex.
10. Tokyo Story- Yasujiro Ozu, the
famous Japanese director molded this family drama in a magnificent way.
9. Red- The third and last installment
from Kristof Kierolwosky’s three color trilogy deals with the topic of
solidarity. It is the well-crafted cinema I have ever seen.
8. Pyasa- What is more clear than a
broken soul? Guru Dutt’s Pyasa is a masterpiece in all aspect.
7. Rashomon: Akira Kurosawa’s Rashomon
taught me how to perceive things from being in nowhere. This movie explained an
event from four different viewpoint.
6. A separation- Asghar Farhadi’s a
separation is a subtle tale of human relation. It shows the life of a married
couple who filed for divorce.
5. There will be blood- Paul Thomas
Anderson is a genius. The ruthless oil Miner Daniel Plainview is one of my
favorite movie charater.
4. The Godfather 2- The godfather 2
often considered as the greatest film ever made carries the legacy of the first
one ahead.
3. 8 and Half: Fredrico Fellaini’s eight
and half tells us about the diminishing fact of artistry. There is much talked
topic in literature and that is poetic sterility.
2. Pother Pachali: Ray’s Pather Pachali
Is text book example of artistic cinema. This movie showed us the class
struggle during the late eighties.
Before revealing my most favorite here
are some honorable mention: A clockwork Orange, 12 angry men, The great beauty,
Vertigo, Rear Window, La Dolce Vita, Casablanca, Au hazard Balthazar, Hobbit,
Battleship Potemkin, The rules of games, Schindler’s list, Dallas Buyers Club, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Awara,
Shree 420, Ship of Thesius, any Rituporno Ghosh’s and Shbprasad Mukhrjee’s
Bengali flicks, Lootera and some other I may have forgot.
1. The Godfather: The number one is pretty
much obvious. I cannot give you the reason why I like this movie so much. Every
second when Michael Corleone act gives me Goosebumps.
